This thought popped into my brain sometime this week (wanted to blog about it earlier but didn't)
Why do people hate children so much?? or at least, dislike them & would have nothing to do with them
like, weren't we all children once??
hmm....
I was reading "If You Could See Me Now" by Cecelia Ahern. She's one good writer with not too much vulgarities inside, which by the way is quite good since most books have like plenty of that. its quite a fascinating book. its almost pure nonsense anyway since its really quite fiction, but it does have quite a bit of good sense that leaves me quite liking the book XD I can't really remember what she said inside, but its about the difference between adults & kids. hmm... When i get that book again i'll put out the quote or something ... =)
Anyway that was what put that thought in my mind & here's what i figured:
Maybe, its because we never really had a childhood. Maybe we spent all our childhood days trying to grow up. Yearning to be a teenager & when we reach that stage we want to be even older so that parents don't have much control over us anymore. We keep wanting to grow up, we dismiss all the small little things that makes childhood. Back in our minds, we detest it. We want it to pass by as quickly as we can...
One thing that many people don't realize is that you're only a child once, you're an adult till you die. That really makes childhood deserve to be treasured compared to adulthood. And many people miss that out. Childhood can be one of the happiest times in your life, because there's innocence, there's treasuring every single tiny thing you have, there's simple joy, there's simple faith. And when people see kids having that, they call them childish.
Sometimes adults can be the childish ones. Just sometimes. XP
Some people dislike children, because they put away they're own childhood. I forgive them because they don't understand.
I understand childhood, its something i really want to hold on to as long as possible. And I do wish to make other people's childhood to be as loving, as joyful, as blessed as it can be. spiritually wise, being mature in your faith is having a childlike faith. Being not mature in your faith makes you have adultlike faith. Its kinda ironic, but I think it kinda makes sense right? haha....
Now thats a really long train of thought. I have a long train! ahahaa i think i'm getting lamer as the days go by...
Today was a happy and fruitful day =D
